Eco Pledge

At a time when urgent environmental action is required, Barrett Translations is committed to reducing its emissions. To play our part, we pledge to:

• Use 100% renewable electricity*.

• Use eco-friendly detergents and cleaning products.

• Hold external business meetings online wherever possible.

• Use the Ecosia extension instead of Google to encourage carbon capture in the United Kingdom.

• Invest in more efficient technology when replacing equipment.

• Unplug all phone and laptop chargers when not in use.

• Use only recycled paper (FSC 100%, FSC Mix or FSC Recycled).

• Keep paper consumption to an absolute minimum.

• Print documents only where absolutely necessary.

• Recycle all office goods and technology properly.

• Ensure an image-free email signature.

• Routinely delete or archive emails stored on the server.
